Menus and gameplay are in Japanese.

Drifting is a driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels, while maintaining control from entry to exit of a corner. A car is drifting when the rear slip angle is greater than the front slip angle, to such an extent that often the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn (e.g. car is turning left, wheels are pointed right or vice versa).

As a motorsport discipline, professional drifting competitions are held worldwide and are judged according to the speed, angle and line taken through a corner or set of corners.

C1 Circuit is a fine drifting racing game with good controls but lack of sprite animation (specially when you turn the car). The graphics are similar to other games like Hard Drivin (the graphic engine is basic but good for his year of release). The audio tracks are the best thing of the game.

There are 3 difficulty levels: Easy, Normal & Hard. 4 Different routes but only one circuit.

Game Modes:
- Scenario: Sort of a story mode. The gameplay is defeat each opponent in one-on-one vs races to become the champion. Only one race to complete this part.
- Time Attack: Race against time
- 2 Players: Race against another human player. Only system link is allowed.
In the garage the player can buy or sell cars, setting up his car or change it.
