The Edo period or Tokugawa period is the period between 1603 to 1868 in the history of Japan when Japanese society was under the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate and the country's 300 regional Daimyo. The period was characterized by economic growth, strict social orders, isolationist foreign policies, an increase in both environmental protection and popular enjoyment of arts and culture. The shogunate was officially established in Edo on March 24, 1603 by Tokugawa Ieyasu. The period came to an end with the Meiji Restoration on May 3, 1868 after the fall of Edo.
In Kaitohranma Miyabi the player will control female characters that will train & interact along side other cool female warriors in a fencing training hall. The player can also visit the town and talk to the people. Depending of the choices the character stats will increase or decrease. Beautiful 2d graphics and a Medieval japan theme.
The gameplay is about chosing the type of training for that day for each of the warriors of the dojo and after doing the training the player's character can go around the town and meet other people and sometimes got some event sequences. In some parts of the game one of the player's warriors will have a duel against other warrior and that part of the game the player can choose what his character will do in each turn (like defend or the different kind of attack).
