Mini Moni is a J-Pop subgroup of "Morning Musume", under the "Hello ! project" label. They were one of the most popular subgroups of the label, thanks to the combination of their amazing music videos, their live performances, and their varied musical styles. The original group has withdrawn from the Japanese scene in 2004, but the concept has returned in summer 200,9 with the new subgroup "Mini Moni Shin

Based on the four female members of Japan's sweetest all girl band, Mini Moni is a Samba De Amigo style rhythm title from Sega which is compatible with the Ascii Tambourine Controller as you tap out the beats Morris dance style. Saccharine sweet candy graphics and plenty of J Pop to keep you tapping away on your tambourine.

The game features different difficulty levels, stages, tambourines sizes. And up to 4 players at the same time can play together. If one player pass the level all the players can play the next one.

The nameless characters from the arcade version have been replaced by the four Mini Moni members, who all dance around as their real life counterparts.

Game modes:
- Arcade: Is a vs mode for 2 players
- Original: Is a cooperative mode for two players
- VS: Is a mode for until 4 players
- Minigames mode: There are 3 different minigames: in one of them you have to hit the globes that has differents colours than yours, in other you have to kill flies and in the other you have to win in a 3 in a row game (colouring the parts).
- Bonus prizes

This release was bundled with the ASCII Tambourine controller.
