Metal Angel 3 is the sequel released only in Playstation to the 2 games released in the PC Engine console.
The game takes place in the year 2038 and the player will take the role of the manager of a female team that was defeated on the last year championship of a futuristic sport that is about defeat the other team members using some kind of mechanical armors. The gameplay is about decide which training the team members will do each week and talk to them about their training and other subjects to improve their stats.
Depending of the player decisions the team members stats will increase or decrease in different things, and there will be also a different number of points to upgrade the armors. The player can also decide the tactics and other things about the game. The trainings can be about swimming in the pool, repairing the armors, running, gymnastic, etc.
The game uses a first person perspective for the conversations with the team members and a third one to move around the place. The game features japanese voice acting for the female characters.
