Namco Namja Town is an indoor theme park in the Sunshine City shopping complex in east Ikebukuro, Toshima, Tokyo, Japan. The park was opened in 1996 by Namco, a Japanese company best known for producing video games, although the park itself does not focus on those games. Instead, it features themed dining, carnival-style games, a haunted house, and a line of character mascots exclusive to the park. It has 24 attractions inside of 6 towns, including ice cream town and gyoza town (Japanese dumplings), where you can enjoy famous restaurants from all over Japan.
Located on the second and third floors of the World Import Mart Building in the Sunshine City complex, Namco Namja Town is one of the largest indoor theme parks in Japan, operated by Namco, a leading video arcade and amusement park company.
The second floor features various attractions, most of which are based on the adventures of the park's mascot character, a cat called Najavu. The attractions include "Gaust Panic" where you fight against ghostly creatures, and "Mosquito Repellent Battle", a tracked ride on a pig-shaped car to shoot down noxious insects.
Also on the second floor is the park's most popular tourist draw, "Gyoza Stadium." This section offers a nostalgic trip to the Showa era where restaurants serve up an overwhelming selection of gyoza (Chinese dumplings popular in Japan).
The third floor houses "Ice Cream City," boasting over 300 kinds of frozen treats, and "Dessert Republic" providing crepes, pudding, sachertorte, and many more.
Najavu No Daibouken My Favourite Namjatown (The Adventures of Najavu - My Favourite Namjatown) is a collection of mini games in which the player controls Najavu an archeologist adventurer that is going through the world in search of rare artifacts and adventures.
The gameplay is about playing different mini games and win them to unlock more and advance in the adventure.
