This was the first of two compilation discs that Namco made for the PlayStation. Namco Anthology takes a cue from the Namco Museum series and collects classic Namco games together on one disc.

Anthology differs from Museum in two ways. The first difference is that Anthology covers Namco games that were developed exclusively for home systems where as Museum focuses on games that Namco released in arcades. The second and biggest difference is that in addition to an accurate presentation of the original game, the disc also contains updated versions of each of the classics.

These discs were only released in Japan and are very hard to come by. This volume contains the following games:

Star Luster
Babel
Wrestleball
Conqueror's Continent (Haou no Tairiku).

Star Luster is a first person spaceship shooter, Babel is a puzzle game similar to Solomon's Key, Wrestleball is a futuristic sport similar to Speedball and Conqueror's Continent is a strategy game.

Variety collection of luxury game recorded four titles together for home use classic Namco games, also added an element arrangements. Are recording sports games "Wrestle ball" of its own that combines puzzle action soccer "Tower of Babel", shooting star "raster" strategy, and rugby, the "continent of Overlord 2 Three Kingdoms" historical simulation.

Original mode (Babel) At the title screen, press - Up(3), Down(5), Right(2), Left. If you entered the code correctly, the title will turn blue.
Control conquerors' faces (Conqueror's Continent) at the conqueror selection screen, hold Select and press - Up, Down, Left, Right several times. Note: Hold Start to select a conqueror for the CPU to control that character automatically.
Sound test (Conqueror's Continent) at the title screen in original mode, hold Circle and press - Up, Down, Left, Right several times.
View ending sequence (Conqueror's Continent) at the title screen in original mode, hold Start and press - Up, Down, Left, Right several times.
Alternate dashboard color (Star Luster) while the title for the original Star Luster is flashing, press - Select, X, Circle, Right, Left, Up, Select, X, Down, Right.
Sound test (Wrestleball) Select "WB League" and "Karate Team" in the original Wrestleball. Then, enter "KWGEN" as a password. Now press - Left or Right to select a song and X to play.
View all windows visuals (Wrestleball) select "WB League" and "Wrestle Team" in the original Wrestleball. Then, enter - "NMURA" as a password.
Screen saver (Wrestleball) Select "WB League" and "Namco Team" in the original Wrestleball. Then, enter - "SAITA" as a password. Note: The PlayStation must be reset to return to normal mode.
Bonus points (Wrestleball) Select "WB League" and any standard team in the original Wrestleball. Then, enter - "MWAKI" as a password for 995 bonus points.
Bonus teams (Wrestleball) Select any mode in the original Wrestleball. Then at the team selection screen, hold - X until the four bonus teams appear.
