Nemu lu Mayu - Sleeping Cocoon is a first person shooter / rpg game in the style of the King's Field series. The game takes place in a fantasy world dominated by an evil demon. At the beginning of the game the player can choose the genre of his character and also choose a name, after that he have to go to the first dungeon of the game.

The gameplay as in the King's Field series uses a first person perspective and the player during his explorations of the dungeons will find items and weapons to help him in his quest. The player at the beginning can only fight using his fist with the "special" feature that in the fights he first have to go to the left or right hand menu and choose what to use in the attack and after use the circle button to execute the order, that makes the game a lot complicated 'cause since the battles are not turn based meanwhile the player is in the menu the enemies will attack him.

The game features japanese voices, a lot of different enemies and a really difficult gameplay.
