Ramen is a Japanese noodle dish that originated in China. It is served in a meat- or fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork, dried seaweed , kamaboko, green onions, and occasionally corn. Almost every locality in Japan has its own variation of ramen, from the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen of Kyushu to the miso ramen of Hokkaido.
Types:
A wide variety of ramen exists in Japan, with geographical and vendor-specific differences even in varieties that share the same name. Ramen can be broadly categorized by its two main ingredients: noodles and broth.
Hashi are called Chopsticks, that are small tapered sticks used in pairs of equal length as the traditional eating utensils of Greater China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. Generally believed to have originated in ancient China, they can also be found in some areas of Tibet and Nepal that are close to Han Chinese populations. Chopsticks are most commonly made of bamboo or plastic, but are also made of metal, bone, ivory, and various types of wood. The pair of sticks is maneuvered in one hand, between the thumb and fingers, and used to pick up pieces of food.
Ramen Hashi begins when a young japanese soldier returns from World War II to his town and decide to open a ramen restaurant and that he will become the best ramen chef of all Japan. During the game time will advance since the 50's until modern times and the character will go through different restaurants.
The gameplay is a mix between a first person adventure game (since there are times in the game where the player have to walk around the town and talk to different characters to advance in the game) and a cooking game, since most of the times the player have to choose different ingredients to make different ramen dishes that he will serve to the customers that arrive to his restaurant and will earn more money and got more customers depending of his recipes and serving attitude.
When a customer tells you what he though about your meal the player can decide what reaction what his character to do (angry, normal, apologize, joking, gentle, flirtation, etc.). With the money that he earned he can buy new ingredients to make new dishes.
