Menus and gameplay are in Japanese.

A tactical role-playing game (abbreviated as TRPG; sometimes referred to as strategy role-playing game, or SRPG) is a type of video game which incorporates elements of traditional role-playing video games and strategy games. In Japan these games are known as "Simulation RPGs", a designation which might seem peculiar to native English speakers. This stems from the Japanese usage of "simulation" as a short hand for "strategy simulation game". Further, in Japan, the term TRPG refers exclusively to tabletop role-playing games.

Simple 1500 Series vol.070 - The War Simulation - Nin no Tsukurishisha-tachi is a Tactical RPG in which the player takes control of Ken (and his mecha robot) that is a member of a Rebellion Army that is trying to defeat the dictator government that is pressing the people.

The gameplay is the classical in a Tactical RPG: The game is divided into several missions, and the player has to clear each one to advance in the story, between missions he will be rewarded with money that he can use to improve the mechas. During each mission the player unit got a limited range of movement and can use different kind of attacks (depending of the equipped weapons the his units got).
