Premier Manager is the name of a football management video game series started in 1992. Published by Gremlin Interactive, it was first developed by Realms of Fantasy, later passed to Spanish company Dinamic Software. The later games are published and developed by Zoo Digital Publishing, who bought the rights from Infogrames and hired some members of the original Gremlin staff.

Premier Manager 2000 was the first game to be developed and published by the new Premier Manager intellectual property owners Zoo Digital. It was released in 1999 for the Sony PlayStation.

Continuing the Premier Manager series Premier Manager 2000 brings football management back with more features. Allowing four players to go up against each other with their favorite team and with the use of the multi-tap.

Take part in the transfer market involving teams and players from England, Italy, Germany, France and Spain. Take your team into domestic and European competitions to become the best team in Europe. As well as team management you control all aspects of your stadium including ticket pricing, expansions, scouts and finances with the bank.

With 3D match play you can see your changes and formations in action accompanied by commentary from Barry Davies.

 BASIC CONTROLS:
  Move pointer:  D-Pad or Left Analog Stick
  Select action / Change camera view in highlights:  X Button
  Cancel action:  Circle Button
  Pause game:  Start Button

 

MISC CODES:
  Almost Certain Victory -   If your one of those people who just can't face loosing a game, then here is a great tip for you. After a match save, then for your NEXT match choose text commentry. If you win, great. But if you don't then go to options and restart the game. Then load up your saved game and go back to the match you just lost. This time choose the highlights and watch them. You may win, but if you don't, restart and load up the game again and select match highlights on the same match again, but this time quit the highlights right at the start (Put the blue curser over the square button and press the X button on the PSX controll pad) and go to the the screen showing the score at the end of the match, and you should of won as 99% of the time, one of these setups for watching the match will be set up to make you win the game.
