Racing and robots combine in CUBIX-Robots For Everyone: Race'N Robots, a racing game based on the animated series and featuring Cubix, Don Don, Maximix and other robotic characters from Bubble Town. Players can choose to race against other robots in Story Mode or go head to head with up to four players in Versus Mode. With typical racing game components like hazards and power-ups, it's a race to the finish line on Bubble Town's nine tracks. May the best robot win.

Story Mode tells a Cubix story of the evil Dr. K and unfolds through nine video sequences, each followed by a new race. Be the first robot to cross the finish line and new tracks will be unlocked and made available for Versus Mode. Points are earned by winning a race and can be used to purchase upgrades at the Botties Pit. Upgrades include Nitro Scoop for improving agility and Grav-Grip for extra traction. New robots become available after a few consecutive wins.

Versus mode applies a different standard to typical racing games. Whether two, three or four players, there is no split screen and no tracking map icon. Each racer begins with four points that can be lost by falling too far behind. Once all four points are gone, the player is out of the race. The first robot to cross the finish line or the last robot left in the race is the winner. Track selection for Versus Mode is determined by the tracks that became available during Story Mode No upgrades can be made in Versus Mode.

To slow a racer down, crushers smash the robots from above and rams smash them from the side. Pits, water and oil slicks are other hazards, and players must watch out for non-racing vehicles on the streets of Bubble Town. Tracks also feature speed strips for temporary acceleration and speed zaps that slow racers down. Power-ups, such as a five-second Mega Horn, shields, and missiles, are scattered around the tracks for the taking. The ultimate goal in Story Mode is to win all the races with a fully upgraded robot, which in turn will unlock all available tracks and robots for Versus Mode.

  Manufacturer's description:

Whether or not you're a big fan of the CUBIX cartoon series, you'll have no choice but to fall in love with this original racing title. The series spotlights a kid named Connor and his robot, Cubix, as the pair attempts to repair damaged robots and fight off the nefarious Dr. K. This game focuses more on the racing elements of the show, sending you off to the Bubble Town Racing Championships to face off against a slew of opponents. One of your rivals turns out to be the aforementioned Dr. K, making this race all the more important.

Choose to compete as Brutix, Hop2ix, Diagnostix, Don-Don, or Cubix (all characters from the show), racing in your very own customized vehicle throughout the action. Earn upgrades by winning races improving your handling, speed, and other elements. The animations are lifted directly from the television series, and the controls are smooth and simple. Play alone or take on a friend!
