Grab your pads and helmets and get ready to tackle the sequel to 1995's NFL GameDay. NFL GameDay '97 now features a computer opponent who will learn your play calling tendencies to shut you down. Complete team management is at your fingertips, with the ability to sign free agents, draft and trade players, even create your own star quarterback or punishing lineman. Guide your team through Preseason, Regular Season, Playoffs and the Super Bowl in your quest to become the best.

The NFL license includes thirty modeled stadiums with authentic team logos and over 500 plays designed by real players such as Steve Bono and Tim Brown. A new feature called Total Control Passing allows you to realistically lead or underthrow receivers, and moves such as diving over the top, one-handed catches, forearm shivers, swim techniques, spins or hurdles are all under your control as well. While players have ratings based on the 1995 NFL Season, their individual statistics can be saved over an entire 1996-97 schedule. Have some friends? Up to eight players can play if you have the Multi Tap peripheral.
