Harukanaru Toki no Naka de - Hachiyoushou [History Box] include Harukanaru Toki no Naka de: Hachiyoushou. Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2, Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 & the PS1 game Harukanaru Toki no naka de - Banue Yuugi..

- HARUKANARU TOKI NO NAKA DE - HACHIYOUSHOU: Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Hachiyoushou (roughly translated as "Excerpt of the Eight Leaves") is a remake of the first game. It was repackaged to tie into the eponymous animated TV series adaptation's broadcast. The anime has been localized into English by Bandai Visual USA as Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time - A Tale of the Eight Guardians; it keeps the original audio with English subtitles.

The Premium Box includes an original character CD book and postcard. Consumers who purchased the game from Gamecity Shopping received a printed slip. Hori offered a Hachiyoushou memory card.

CHANGES:
- General gameplay remains with the following alterations.
- Portraits for every character and bosses have been redone. Battle portraits for the guardians have been redrawn with new key poses and animations. Vengeful spirits and sealing lose their animations in favor of the still image floating effect used in the third title.
- Every guardian receives a third "Hachiyoushou" ending with new still images to cater to them. When the player meets these conditions with a character, his vanilla route remains the same until the ending.
- Akram has a romance route in this game. His default portrait has been altered to have him unmasked.
- Select story and character events are now fully voiced.
- Still images have been recolored with smoother colors, shadows, and highlights.
- The opening movie has been altered to a re-cut version of the TV animated series's intro using the vanilla game's introduction music.
- Music has been remastered.

- HARUKANARU TOKI NO NAKA DE 2: Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2 is an otome adventure game developed by Ruby Party and published by Koei. It was originally released for PC, and has since been ported to PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2 is the 2nd main entry in the Haruka series, and it is a part of Ruby Party's Neoromance label.

STORY:
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 2 takes place 100 years after the prior game (released in the Playstation One console), Harukanaru Toki no Naka de. Kyo, which resembles Kyoto in the Heian period, is in turmoil because of a power struggle going on between the emperor and the retired emperor, and the people of Kyo are falling into desperation, fearing the coming of the end of the world. Karin, a modern-day high school girl, is summoned to be the Ryujin no Miko who will save Kyo. However, there is already a Ryujin no Miko in Kyo who has been recognized by the retired emperor, and the eight men chosen as Karin's Hachiyo do not believe that Karin is really the Miko.

MAIN CHARACTERS:
- Karin Takakura: Karin is unvoiced in the game)
The chosen Miko of the Ryujin. Though Karin is known as the Hakuryu no Miko , she fills the same position as the heroine of the prequel game. Though most of her character traits are determined by the player, she is generally portrayed as a straightforward, generous girl who is not overly concerned with minor details.

- Minamoto no Yoritada: Voiced by: Shinichiro Miki
Seiryu of Heaven. Yoritada is a swordsman in the retired emperor's army, the Hokumen no Bushi. He is calm and dependable, but he is also reticent, and has a difficult time expressing his emotions. Having decided that he need only obey the commands of his master, Yoritada avoids acting on his own will.

- Taira no Katsuzane: Voiced by: Tomokazu Seki
Seiryu of Earth and the older brother of Taira no Chitose, the other Ryujin no Miko. A member of the Taira clan, a lesser noble family, Katsuzane works in the Imperial court. Sharp-tongued and short tempered, he is a lone wolf who avoids others. He and Isato are foster brothers, and while they were childhood friends, Katsuzane now feels indebted to Isato. Katsuzane dislikes court society, and scorns nobles who expect him to rise in rank because his sister is the Miko.

- Isato: Voiced by: Naozumi Takahashi
Suzaku of Heaven. Isato is an apprentice sohei (warrior priest), and though neutral in the governmental power struggle, he leans toward the retired emperor. An energetic youth, he is easily angered, but has an essentially kind personality. He likes looking after others and loves children. Isato has a cold side as well, manifested in his prejudice against nobles.

- Akifumi: Voiced by: Kouki Miyata
Suzaku of Earth. Akifumi is the current emperor's younger brother and the crown prince. Despite his high standing he is not at all prideful, and treats everyone he meets kindly. While on one hand he seems to be the ideal crown prince, gossip circulates in the court saying that his light-colored hair, reminiscent of the Oni Clan, makes him unsuitable. Akifumi also has a romantic side, and he lavishes praise on the main character, calling her a ten'nyo.

- Fujiwara no Yukitaka: Voiced by: Shigeru Nakahara
Byakko of Heaven. A successor of the line of Fujiwara regents, Yukitaka holds concurrent posts in the imperial court as assistant police commissioner and councillor. He sides with the retired emperor. He is dedicated to his work, serious, and has a thirst for knowledge. He strives to judge all things impartially. Though Yukitaka is generally calm and morderate in temperament, his past with Hisui can cause him to lose his cool.

- Hisui: Voiced by: Kazuhiko Inoue
Byakko of Earth. Hisui is the chieftain of a group of pirates who headquarter in Iyo (modern Ehime Prefecture). He is neutral in the power struggle, but the emperor better serves his interests. Despite his rough profession he is a well cultivated and refined cassanova. Hisui is aloof, refuses to be tied down by any obligation, and it is difficult to predict his behavior. He will not involve himself in anything he finds uninteresting.

- Minamoto no Motomi: Voiced by: Soichiro Hoshi
Genbu of Heaven. Motomi is a nobleman of the Murakami branch of the Minamoto clan, and he works as a court official in the Ministry of Ceremonies. He sides with the retired emperor. A young man who deports himself with excessive modesty in order to avoid inconveniencing others, Motomi is unused to praise, and is bewildered when others do praise him. He is delicate and his feelings are easily hurt, but he longs to be of use to others.

- Abe no Yasutsugu: Voiced by: Akira Ishida
Genbu of Earth. Yasutsugu is an onmyoji from the same clan as Yasuaki in the prequel. He is neutral in the governmental power struggle, but favors the emperor. He is logical, and voices only facts and his true feelings, and so he tends to be perceived as being cold. Yasutsugu is a capable onmyoji, but he believes himself to be inferior to the previous Genbu of Earth, and this troubles him.

- Fujiwara no Yukari: Voiced by: Ikue Otani
A descendant of the Star Clan, whose duty is to assist the Miko. Misono is her older twin brother. Everyone except Misono calls her Yukari-hime. She is the one person who believes that the main character is the Ryujin no Miko from the very beginning. Yukari has a strong sense of duty and a serious personality that belies her age.

- Fujiwara no Misono: Voiced by: Ikue Otani
Like his younger twin sister, Misono is a descendant of the Star Clan. He is very protective of Yukari. Misono possesses a maturity beyond his age, and tends to be haughty towards people of lower social standing. He has little interest in assisting the main character.

- HARUKANARU TOKI NO NAKA DE 3: Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 is a PlayStation 2 otome adventure game developed by Ruby Party and published by Koei. Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 is the third main entry in the Haruka series, and it is a part of Ruby Party's Neoromance label.

Two gaiden games have been released that expand on the story of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 - Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Izayoiki (Chronicle of the Sixteen-Day-Old Moon) and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Unmei no Labyrinth (The Labyrinth of Fate).

STORY:
One rainy day Nozomi Kasuga and her two friends encounter a strange boy at their high school, who sends them hurtling across time and space to a place in another world called Kyo. This place bears a strong resemblance to Kyoto at the end of the Heian period, where the Minamoto clan (Genji), led by Minamoto no Yoritomo (based on the historical Minamoto no Yoritomo), is at war with the Taira clan (Heike), led by Taira no Kiyomori (based on the historical Taira no Kiyomori). The Heike hope to defeat the Genji by releasing vengeful spirits (onryo) to disturb the Earth's natural flow of energies and to terrorize the land. The boy that Nozomi met is revealed to be the human form of Hakuryu, the White Dragon God said to protect Kyo, whose powers have greatly weakened due to the presence of the onryo. Nozomi discovers that she has the power to seal the onryo as Hakuryu no Miko (Priestess of the White Dragon), and she allies herself with the Genji in order to seal the onryo, restore Hakuryu's powers, and return home to her own world.

CHARACTERS:
- Nozomi Kasuga: The main character. A girl in her second year of high school. Chosen by the god called Hakuryu (White Dragon) to be his priestess, she is brought to a strange world where the Genji and the Heike wage war with one another. In order to return home, she must fight alongside the Genji against the Heike. Having obtained the power to cross time, she is determined to save those friends she loses in battle. She grew up with the Arikawa brothers, and until recently the three of them have virtually always been together. In the anime, she harbours feelings for Masaomi.

- Masaomi Arikawa: Nozomi's childhood friend and classmate, and Yuzuru's older brother. A charismatically bold and reliable young man. He is separated from Nozomi and Yuzuru when they are sent across time and space, and the only contact Nozomi has with him is through her dreams.

- Minamoto no Kuro Yoshitsune: A general of the Genji army. Called "Kuro" (rather than "Yoshitsune"). He initially opposes Nozomi's wish to fight, believing that women should not be exposed to the dangers of the battlefield, but readily accepts her when she can prove herself in battle.

- Hinoe: Mysterious young man who appears without reason during Nozomi's stay in Kumano. Seems to be a part of the Kumano navy. Bright, fearless, and easygoing.

- Musashibo Benkei: Kuro's confidant and military tactician, well informed in many areas of knowledge. A seemingly calm-mannered young man.

- Yuzuru Arikawa: Nozomi's childhood friend and one year her junior. Younger brother of Masaomi, the Ten no Seiryu.

- Kajiwara Kagetoki: Showy and frivolous, the army magistrate and a military commander of the Genji. Confidant of Kuro's older brother, Minamoto no Yoritomo. Although a soldier, Kagetoki also uses a gun-like tool to effect Onmyoji arts.

- Taira no Atsumori: A young nobleman of the enemy Heike clan. Nozomi finds him collapsed from his wounds on the battlefield and takes him in.

- Ridvan: Nozomi and Kuro's sword instructor. Sometimes called a tengu of Mt. Kurama. He gives off a silent, dark, cold impression, but he is in fact very gentle and kind.

- Kajiwara Saku: Younger sister of Kagetoki and only a year older than Nozomi, yet very mature. She is the Kokuryu no Miko. She is romantically involved with Kokuryu until the day he mysteriously disappears.

- Hakuryu: The Ryujin who summoned Nozomi and the Arikawa brothers through time and space to a foreign world. Having lost all his powers, he first appeared in the form of a child when Nozomi met him.

-HARUKANARU TOKI NO NAKA DE - BANUE YUUGI: Harukanaru Toki no Naka de is an otome adventure game developed by Ruby Party and published by Koei. It is a part of Ruby Party's Neoromance label.

Because of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de's success, the game has give rise to a franchise including several sequels, numerous drama and music CDs, a manga series, two OAVs, a movie, and an anime TV series, and a live-action theatrical.

STORY:
On the first day of a new school term, high school student Akane Motomiya, her classmate Tenma Morimura, and their underclass friend Shimon Nagareyama are sucked into a mysterious old well. When they awake, they are in Kyo, another world that resembles Kyoto during the Heian Period. According to the young scion of the Star Clan, Fujihime, Akane is the Ryujin no Miko who has come to save Kyo from the ambitions of the Oni Clan. In this task, the Akane has the help of eight men known as the Hachiyo, and her friends Tenma and Shimon number among them. Initially, Akane is bewildered by her new circumstances, but she gradually comes to face up to her own destiny and understand the world of Kyo.

Based on the original story, Harukanaru Toki no naka de - Banue Yuugi is a new game created however as a monopoly version.

One day you wake up and realises there are the four of you, in order to prove that you are the real Miko, you have to try to win mini games and earn fuda and give them out as gifts to win trusts and intimacy from the Hachiyo and Fuji Hime. By the end of the period, the Hachiyo will cast their votes on which Miko they believe deserves to be the real one and thus remain.

The fun part is, you get to see another player travel around earning fuda, and you can take the Hachiyo that accompanies you to fight against that player and her Hachiyo. The Miko that was defeated will lose her fuda and the trust of both Hachiyo.

Characters that you can conquer: Minamoto no Yorihisa, Moriyama Tenma, Inori, Nagayama Shimon, Tachibana no Tomomasa, Fujiwara no Takamichi, Eisen, Abe no Yasuaki

Its the chibi version, and more a monopoly game than a dating sim. Although there are love confession scenes towards the end, but treat it more as a board game than the previous Haruka games. I personally liked it because I enjoy Monopoly very much.
