The backdrop story of the game sees Jon asking Garfield to look after Odie and the house. Not unexpectedly, the laziest of all cats falls asleep and leaves Odie to his own devices. He is woken by the sound of a loud crash and to his horror finds that Odie has completely trashed the house. Garfield checks the clock in the kitchen, it’s 4PM and Jon is due back at five.
Garfield has to battle against time to get the house back in order before Jon comes home, putting the misplaced items back in their correct places. Garfield has an allotted time to clean and tidy separate areas and as the game progresses, time available to him inevitably becomes shorter.
Failure to complete the tasks in the time results with a despondent cat preparing himself for the return of Jon. Oh dear!
