Moekan - Moekkojima e Youkoso is an adventure, visual novel computer game that was released by Kero Q on January 31, 2003. The computer game was adapted by Princess Soft into an adventure Dreamcast game on December 25, 2003 and an adventure PlayStation 2 game on February 5, 2004. The game was adapted into a radio drama, which was released as a drama CD by Lantis on June 4, 2003.
The games was adapted into a three-episode Japanese original video animation series known as Moekan The Animation. Alternatively it has also been titled "Moekko Company" or "Moekko Company The Animation." Directed by Kazukoto Ohno, the anime was broadcast on KSS between December 19, 2003 and July 23, 2004.
PLOT:
The title follows Takahiro, an enigmatic man served unquestioningly by five beautiful maids with equally mysterious pasts tied to his. Primarily set within a secluded mansion estate, the story is a combination of humor, romance, and surprisingly dark violence; all revealing the exact nature of their association and shared questionable future. The game features three distinct styles of high quality artwork: a tradition style for storytelling, a super-deformed style for comedic events, and a blood red gothic style for the darker moments.
CHARACTERS:
- Moe no Mikoto: She is the daughter of the executive of Moe, a purge unit Inspection Office Product Management Department.
- Rinia: She is the protagonist of the series.
- Fuyuha Jissouji: She is the librarian of Moe.
- Kazusa Asagiri: She came from the Audit Office's headquarters to monitor Kanzaki Takahiro.
- Kaori Kirishima: She manages the operation of Moe Island. She likes stuffed animals and cute things.
- Suzuki: She has a calm and taciturn personality
