The MechSmith - Run=Dim: In the year 2052, global warming has melted the polar ice caps and entire land masses plunge under the swells of newborn water. Charged with the task of saving what's left of the economy, you and a team of techs develop mecha to help achieve salvation. History teaches us that war usually helps beleaguered economies; that is, mobilizing the machine, if you will, to ward off recession.

Dubbed RBs, the mechs you create may be customized to higher performance levels and sent into simulated battle against other RBs. Dissimilar to other mech fighting games, you only give instructions to your RB and never taking actual control of it in battle. Constant tweaking, tuning and bolting on new parts will eventually engender the ultimate RB, which also means victory.
