Kero Kero King is a video game originally released for PlayStation, Ribbit King is the sequel to that game PlayStation 2 and Gamecube and is called Kero Kero Super DX in Japan. The game is based on the fictional sport of Frolf, which is a golf-like game that is played with frogs. The frogs sit on catapults, which the player whacks with a mallet to send the frog flying into the air.

Ribbit King players grab their favorite frogs and launch them, high through the air, toward a small and distant goal. The player who puts his or her frog in the hole with the fewest strokes wins. Featuring bright, colorful courses, humorous animations, and simple, super-deformed characters, Ribbit King's presentation promotes a lighthearted mood fitting for a game of "frog golf."

Released for GameCube in Japan as Kero Kero King DX (the PS2 port is called Kero Kero King Super DX), this golf-influenced frog-flinging game offers ten distinct characters, and 20 levels set across five different game worlds. Players launch their frogs by placing them on a special stand and pounding a lever with a hammer. Frogs can be sent far and wide with this technique, but they don't seem to mind (too much).

GAMEPLAY:
The objective is to earn the most points possible by landing the frog in the course's hole in the quickest time possible. Players can also earn points by sending their frogs through various spheres scattered through the level. In addition, they can score points by having their frogs eaten by giant worms, or by having their frogs swim, or by any number of other things.

PLOT:
The main character of Ribbit King is a construction worker named Scooter. Scooter is trying to become the Frolf Champion, and in doing so win the "Super Ribbinite," a fuel source his planet Hippitron.needs in order to survive.
