Shinjuku no Ookami offers a gritty tale set on the streets of Tokyo's Shinjuku district and promised of a high degree of freedom. Yakuza's Wolf of Shinjuku's main character is Eiji Mikami, and he's known as the Lone Wolf. Mikami is a 35 year old detective who lost his son three years back and, due to complications resulting from that, is now separated from his wife. You have access to the police's crime database, allowing you to learn what kind of crimes have taken place -anything from drunks fighting it out to more serious homicides. From there, you're free to head out on the town to investigate.
You are the law, punish evil in anyway you like. There are no restricting rules in this game and criminals have no human rights, so destroy them, break them down completely as you see fit. You are the only one standing between good and evil in Shinjuku in an alternate universe. Get to the bottom of cases and arrest the criminals. Detain them, fine them or clear their names and free them, its all up to you.
