Conspiracy Entertainment's answer to the Olympic Games, Summer Athletics: The Ultimate Challenge lets players compete in 26 different disciplines. Gamers can try out seven running events, five swimming events, four jumping events, four throwing events, three cycling events, two archery events, and one diving event. Each of the 16 available characters represents a different country, or players can create their own character from scratch. Summer Athletics can be played in both arcade and career modes, it features four different levels of difficulty, and certain events let up to four people play at a time.

The handling is similar for all of them: rhythmic motions to keep the athlete moving and quick time events (pressing a button when it gets displayed on the screen) for performing certain actions. The mentioned rhythmic motions depend on the input device the player uses, e.g. at the swimming event the player needs to press two buttons alternately when using a keyboard and rotate the analog sticks when using a gamepad.

The game features a basic career mode where the player gains a fixed amount of experience points after every event which an be reinvested into improved stats. There is also a optional arcade mode where the players have so-called boosts to their disposal to improve their athlete's performance for a short time.

Features
* Compete in more than two-dozen track & field, swimming, & cycling events
* Choose from 16 pre-made characters of create a custom avatar
* Up to four people can play using one set of controllers
