The year is 1998 and terrorist activity is rampant. All efforts for peace have failed. With no peaceful end in sight, the U.S. Government has funded a top secret Black Operations military group to attack and destroy the terrorists and rescue any hostages. Black Dawn puts you in control of a combat helicopter, the Agile Warrior: F-IIIX, with two flight modes, six views, and thirty-two missions to blast through. Everything else is on a need-to-know basis. A saved game requires one memory block.

Black Dawn fulfills a few childhood dreams by putting gamers in control of a military helicopter. Terrorists have grown powerful in the world and it is up to you to restore stability and peace throughout the lands. Assigned to a variety of campaigns, you must fly the AH-69 Mohawk (sounds like something Jan-Michael Vincent from AIRWOLF would pilot) as you battle through enemy territory across different global locales.
