Ever dreamed of fighting in the "Thrilla in Manilla?" Now you can! In Knockout Kings 2000, EA Sports has included a Classic Fights feature. Some of the greatest matches of all time are playable, with no set outcomes. You can fight as the boxers or create your own greatest fights ever by taking on the persona of over 50 of the greatest boxers of all time, including their statistics. From Ali and Frazier to Holyfield and Butterbean.
In addition to the Classic Fights feature, you can take part in any number of modes. From the no-holds barred Exhibition mode to the Slugfest and Career modes, you have a chock-full of choices.
The Career mode is the meat of the game here. You create your own customized boxer and fight from the bottom up. Choose from any number of options: face, fighting style, weight, power and so on. And then begin strategic training, because you are going to need it for Knockout Kings 2000.
The game also features vibration and analog support and requires one to two blocks of memory for the Career mode. Also appearing in the game is a video of the hit single In The Game, performed by rap artist O on Hollywood Records. As well, video promotions make the cut here for EA Sports' Cyber Athlete and NASCAR Rumble.
