Blue the dog and her friend Steve want to put on a music show, but they'll need the help of PlayStation gamers aged three and older to pull it off in style. Based on the popular Nick Jr. television show, children will play an interactive version of Blue's Clues to find three paw-printed clues relating to the game's story. Once the clues are discovered, players will need to figure out what it all means and pick the solution from three choices. When the mystery is solved, players help choose an opening act and the show goes on.
Blue skidoo and players can too, as along the way they'll need to follow the curious pup to special areas for gentle, arcade-styled challenges. Skiddo games and activities include sprinkler skipping, cupcake color matching, the birdsong sing-along, and a rhythm-based drum game. Blue's Big Musical features over 20 of the most the popular characters from the TV series and the player's success in the mini-games and side activities helps determine who will perform in the big show.
There is also a Parent Info mode that lets an adult select for their child any clue searching act to play or let's them play any song contained in the game. These songs are from Blue's Big Musical Movie.
