Explosive Racing is a 3d racing game with 3 different modes:
- Practice: Choose a car and select one of the circuits avaliable (the player can unlock more playing the championship mode) to practice them.
- Championship: The main game mode, compete against computer players to win the championship. There are different characters to choose from.
- Link mode: Using the console link mode play against another human player to know who is the best one.

The game features 6 different characters to choose from (Tina, Angus, Garcias, Muzak, Max & Iraki) and automatic or manual transmision modes.
