Screaming down straight-aways, flying over jumps and spiraling around loops is all part of Crave Entertainment's futuristic racing game Killer Loop for the PlayStation.
Players will select a racer, tune up the car and then speed around one of many futuristic tracks that have unique turns, jumps and loops for each. Whereas the Mars course features perilous jumps and speed-building straight-aways, the Hawaii track will have you navigating through 360-degree tunnels underwater while taking advantage of a magnet tool for gripping purposes! All eight tracks are different with the requirement of unique skills to beat them.
You can select from two initial gameplay options: the Championship and Time Trials modes. Time Trials allow you to race against the clock in a three-lap race for the best track records. The Championship mode has you competing in a series of races with the objective of moving to harder courses and earning rewards. As you progress, you'll want to master the use of the magnet tool and various weapons essential to winning each race. If you can pull this off, you'll be treated to a few extras including new vehicles and two new options -- the Killer Loop and the aptly named 25% Faster race modes.
There are many weapons and tool pickups you'll find laying on the track. One of the most used items is the already mentioned magnet. This device will help you take sharp turns and hairpins with relative easy. There is also a plethora of protective shields, missiles and mines that will repel and destroy your racer advisories with swift effectiveness. Mastering the use of these gadgets is the key to success!
Killer Loop supports memory cards for any extras that you'd wish to save and the vibration function of the Dual Shock Analog Controller. Now strap into your seat and hit the thrusters, the MK racing league is awaiting a new champion!
