Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 is a boxing game for the Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance and it is also the sequel to Ready 2 Rumble Boxing.

Ready 2 Rumble: Round 2 for the PlayStation picks up right where the previous boxing game left off. Duke it out in cartoon-style settings with boxers from all over the world. Old favorites are back, such as Afro Thunder, Jet "Iron" Chin and Butcher Brown, along with a roster of 13 new characters including hidden celebrity players Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jackson, and a few more surprises.

Face off in a series of boxing arenas while you build up your "Rumble" meter by landing well-placed combos, uppercuts, and body blows. You can also add to your meter by taunting your opponent, but once you start talking you're open to attack. Once the Rumble meter is filled, you can unleash a vicious combo against your opponent that ensures a knockout.

Rings are 3D in scale, and a variety of camera angles are offered to let you customize your view (including a blimp cam and a first-person perspective). Also included are a variety of mini-games that allow boxers to train in Exhibition mode, using such items as punching bags and weight sets. These will eventually increase a boxer's statistics as he or she continues through the Training and Championship modes of play. In addition to the Championship, Tournament and Team Battle mode, Ready 2 Rumble: Round 2 offers a two-player Versus mode where you can slug it out against a friend.
