The first college football game released for the PlayStation, NCAA Football GameBreaker includes 111 Division I-A, the top I-AA, and some of the greatest college teams of all-time. Along with the modern teams based on the 1995 season, GameBreaker includes ten Division I-A Conferences such as the BIG 12 and PAC 10. Compete in Exhibition, Season Play with Bowls, Season Play with Tournament, or the National Championship Tournament.

Complete stat tracking is available in over twelve offensive and defensive categories, and it is possible to win awards like the Heisman Trophy if your player is talented enough. Each stadium has been emblazoned with authentic college logos, painted endzones, and even crowd banners designed to make you feel you're on campus. In order to recreate the college atmosphere, NCAA Football GameBreaker features a PA Announcer as well as fight songs performed by the USC Marching Band. None of this matters, however, if you can't deliver the championship to your alma mater!
