Menus and gameplay are in English.

Players navigate through three Tokyo highway circuits driving one of 72 high-performance sports cars. While driving, players earn valuable points which are used to purchase upgrade parts for their vehicle.

To ensure the most realistic gameplay, developers Bullet-Proof Software, enlisted the guidance of racing champion, Keiichi Tsuchiya and automotive specialist, Masaaki Bando Under their supervision, Bullet-Proof painstakingly recreated the physics and handling of each race car.

GAME MODES:

- SCENARIO:
Scenario is the equivalent of a Career mode in many other racing games. The point of Scenario is to race and defeat numerous rivals to become the best highway racer in all of Tokyo.

To begin this quest, a player must first choose a car. Three cars are initially available, and the car stats are shown. Once a car has been chosen, the player has 5000 initial points to spend on car parts to help the car perform better.

- VS CPU:
Compete againts the computer in a single race

- PRACTICE:
Practice in the different circuits to master the car driving.

  Manufacturer's description:

"It was incredible! Thundering through the neon-lit Japanese metropolis with 454 horses raging under the hood. This low-flying, asphalt-grinding, fuel-injected speed demon was screaming out loud. In 5th, I was pushing 6800 rpm, but cooled off just long enough to take the hairpin turn. There was an awesome view of the Tokyo skyline at night, but no time to enjoy it. At the speed trap I was clocked at triple-digits, so the local heat was in pursuit. That's when the real battle began.."
