Time is running out, in this PS2-exclusive action-adventure by Sony Europe's Cambridge Studios. Based on the popular Fox television series, the game puts players in the ephemeral role of Jack Bauer, an on-and-off special agent with the U.S. government's "Counter-Terrorist Unit" ("CTU"). As in the television show, Jack has a mere 24 hours to prevent a global disaster.

The game takes place between the events of the second and third seasons of the show, and has Jack investigating the failed assassination attempt of President David Palmer. Keifer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) and Dennis Haysbert (David Palmer), lend their likenesses and voice-acting to the game, along with Elisha Cuthbert (Kim Bauer) and Carlos Bernard (Tony Almeda).

The game allows the player to play as Jack Bauer, Kim Bauer, Tony Almeida, Michelle Dessler, and Chase Edmunds with all of the actors of the TV show coming back to reprise their roles through voice acting. The game contains many missions ranging from 3rd-person shootouts and sniper missions to puzzles and interrogation sequences. Written by one of the writers for the TV show, it serves as a bridge to cover many of the missing elements from the TV show between the season 2/3 gap.

Playing as the TV show's various characters you’ll take part in a action-adventure experience, shooting your way through terrorists, playing puzzle mini-games where you'll defuse bombs and work with various counter-terrorism unit programs, and even interrogate suspects till they crack and give your the information you want to know. You'll know what it's like to step into the shoes of LA's finest CTU agents as yet another large conspiracy unfolds.

MISC CODES (At the main menu, hold down all four shoulder buttons (L1+L2+R1+R2) at once, for about 3 to 4 seconds, until the "Security Clearance" cheat menu pops up):

To enter the letters for the codes, hold down the X button over the character you wish to change, then move the + button left or right to change the characters, then let go of the X button to move to the next character using + button. Once all the characters are entered in correctly, press the Square button, and the cheat code should turn orange so as indicate that the code was entered in correctly. Press Triangle to exit to the Main Menu, then select "Previously On 24", Then Select "Missions", Then Load your Save File, Then select the "Missions" tab, then follow the instructions on the bottom of the screen.
