Ore No Ryouri is a Japanese restaurant management simulator, originally released in Japan for the PlayStation on September 9th, 1999. A demo was also included on a PlayStation Underground demo disc as a featured import. A digital version was released on August 20, 2007 on the Japanese PlayStation Store. The player takes the role of a young chef, who must cook his way up through 9 different restaurant levels, cooking a variety of 39 different dishes.
Due to the games popularity it was added to the Best of PlayStation releases in Japan and later a PlayStation 2 party/board game, Gacharoku, was created based on the characters and art style.
Gacharoku is a sugoroku board game that takes its players throughout the country of Japan. Is a board and mini-game action for up to four players.
Game Modes:
- Story Mode: In this mode the player can choose from 1 of the seven different characters (up to 4 human players can compete at the same time), in boards around different places of Japan.
- 1 Player Mini Game Mode: In this mode there the 7 usual characters to choose from, and one player can play 11 different mini games and the master will give him more or less points depending of the player performance.
- Party - Mini Game Mode: In this mode there are the 7 usual characters to choose from, 1 to 4 players can compete in different mini games.
