Kumauta is a music game, whose title translates to "Bear Song." And sure enough, the game is about bears singing songs. A bear asks you a series of questions and based on your responses, he'll generate a song which you can edit it to your liking by selecting from a series of optional phrases. At the end of it all, the bear will sing the song. Songs that you have created can be sent to other people over the PlayStation 22 network (and even to PC users), so you can brighten up someone's day with your carefully crafted lyrics.
Kuma Uta (Bear Song) was made by Sony in 2003 and features a polar bear in different costumes writing and singing enka songs based on your answers to various questions (which you, as his manager, can edit before the performance by selecting from or re-ordering the phrases he came up with). You could also write your own songs, upload them to the internet, or download original songs from other players for the bear to sing.
