Le Mans 24 Hours is an officially ACO (Automobile Club de l’Ouest) licensed racing gameThe driving simulation which found success on the Dreamcast, the PC, and the original PlayStation now comes to the PlayStation 2 console in this release of Test Drive Le Mans. Like earlier versions of the game, this release is based on the annual daylong auto race first held in 1923 as the "Grand Prix of Endurance."

Players choose from a wide variety of real-life cars in three different performance categories then hit the road in a high-speed battle against weather, fatigue, and many other talented drivers. Enhancing the gameplay proven on other systems, this PS2 version adds new vehicles, a new track, and several new animations to help bring the race to life.

* Le Mans 24 Hours offers 70 official cars (Prototypes and GTs), 12 genuine circuits all faithfully reproduced, including the American track of «Petit Le Mans» and of course the world famous «Le Mans 24 Hours» circuit itself. The game consists of 5 modes: Quick Race, Championship, Le Mans (race the course in real time or in accelerated mode), Multiplayer and Time Trial.
* Striking realism has been achieved with 3D pit stops, interactive AI and animated drivers, as well as the unrivalled sensation of day and night driving, stunning graphics and easy to control handling, all making Le Mans 24 Hours a breath-taking driving experience.
