Slam Tennis, anyone? This game offers both real and fantasy players and venues, allowing gamers to enjoy the extreme personality of a fictional character or take the more serious role of a favorite pro. The game's Arcade mode features a series of one-player challenges against increasingly difficult computer-controlled opponents.

The Championship mode is also for one player, following a tennis star's career through matches set around the world. New kits, players, and arenas can be unlocked as players vie for the "Slam Tennis Championship." The game's Exhibition mode allows as many as four players (with the PS2 Multitap) to compete together using the athletes, arenas, and settings of their choice. A selection of mini-games is included as well, to broaden play and help hone skills.
