Experience the art of drifting, a type of racing where cars zoom through a fixed course sliding around curves at speeds ranging from 90 to 125 mph. D1 Grand Prix features 13 driving circuits from professional D1 competitions such as Odaiba, Tsukuba Circuit, Autopolis, SUGO, Fuji Speedway, Irwindale and more. Drivers are judged on style, angle of attack, and execution.

Choose from 40 licensed vehicles including cars from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Subaru, and Pontiac, and then select one of 39 professional drift drivers. D1 Grand Prix includes an in-depth tutorial to teach you the finer points of drifting. Race through six modes of play such as "D1 Series," "X-Treme," "Time Attack," "Survival Mode," "Battle Mode" and "D1 Theatre," during the day or the evening, in the rain or sunshine, and with official D1 Grand Prix car, stats, and rules.

The USA version is the version of the japanese game D1 - Professional Drift Grand Prix Series 2005, the first game in Japan is the same one than the 2005 but with the pilots and stats of 2004.
